Find an Alter or a particular place where you can meditate and perform all your pranayama. Keep that space just for your practice and writing. Mention it to your friends and relative and partners , so there is no diversion or intervention in your practice. Try keeping a strict routine.
Having an alter trains your mind to withdraw from the world for the self care. Our mind calms down when it is on routine. Let this space be special for you. add all that you think is a must for your existence. May be your childhood picture, parents or special person who is made a difference in your life.
